Bhoomika Theatre Group

Bhoomika Theatre Group, founded in 1989 by Udaya Bhanu Garikipati, is based in East Marredpally, Secunderabad. Over three decades, the group has produced over 100 theatrical productions in Hindi, Telugu, and Deccani languages. They specialize in actor training, children's theatre, and original dramatic productions addressing contemporary social themes. Their three-month actor training program provides foundational instruction in theatre acting, covering character interpretation and stage presence. Bhoomika is renowned for Mungitlo Natakam, which brings live theatre performances directly to residential colonies and community spaces at no charge. The organization creates educational storytelling sessions for children featuring carefully curated Indian folktales. Their performances have been showcased nationally and internationally, earning critical acclaim for artistic excellence and meaningful theatrical expressions that illuminate social realities.
